Happy Chinese New Year!

I can’t help finding it auspicious that The Dragon Keeper will be released in the year of the dragon.  Maybe a better focus on the lunar years would have kept me from getting discouraged during the whole rejection process.  It wasn’t me; it wasn’t the book; it was just the wrong year! 🙂

I haven’t found much in my internet trolling about what the year of the dragon means.  Apparently any children born this year–including my own new tyke–will be passionate, busy leaders with a secret preference for being alone.  I’ll try to keep that in mind when my passionate leader flushes all my jewelry down the toilet, or something similar, in a few short years.
